American Rapper Fatman Scoop Passes On After Collapsing On Stage

The American rapper Fatman Scoop passed unexpectedly following a collapse at a Connecticut gig.

The music icon’s staff reportedly told the BBC that he passed away midway through his performance at Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut.

Scoop’s booking agency, MN2S, was cited in a statement as announcing his passing.

“Scoop was a beloved figure in the music world, whose work was loved by countless fans across the globe,” it said.

“His legacy will live on through his timeless music. His iconic voice, infectious energy, and great personality made an indelible mark on the industry.”

Isaac Freeman III, better known by his birth name Scoop, was a major player in the 1990s hip-hop scene in New York City.

He made appearances on some well-known songs, including as Mariah Carey’s “It’s Like That” and Missy Elliott’s “Lose Control,” which won a Grammy.

Another well-known song by Scoop is “Be Faithful,” which broke internationally in 2003 after first appearing in 1999.

Our heart are saddened by this loss. We will like to express our sincere condolences to his family.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
