Arsenal Beat Spurs To Extend Premier League Lead

Published on

Arsenal had a good run at Tottenham Stadium on Sunday as they beat north London rivals Tottenham 2-0 in their Premier League fixture.

Having had an incredible season, the Gunners are currently top of the table with eight points clear.

Arsenal made the most of Manchester City’s defeat to Manchester United on Saturday and showed impressive style.

In the 14th minute, Mikel Arteta’s side took the lead after Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris made a mistake after missing a Saka Bukayo cross. Captain Martin Oudegaard put the visitors in control with a second goal from outside the area nine minutes before the start of the second half.

The Spurs also had their chances, but goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale’s goalkeeping brilliance thwarted the efforts of Harry Kane and Ryan Sessegnon.
