ASUU: “How Do Our Politicians Feel Posting Pictures Of Their Children Studying Abroad” – Super Eagles’ Musa

Published on

The captain of the Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa, has criticized Nigerian politicians over their attitude towards the current Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.

On Tuesday, Musa on his Instagram page, questioned how politicians feel when they visit their children in schools abroad but Nigerian students stay at home.

He criticized politicians for showing off photos of their children attending school overseas while those in Nigeria are stuck at home.

He said, “To our political office holders whose children school abroad. How do you feel visiting your children abroad, taking pictures in their schools and posting it online while ASUU is on strike?

“Like seriously, how is it okay to you? You are running a system you don’t even believe in. Show me one oyibo leader whose child is schooling in Nigeria. E no dey touch una?

And when you return Nigerian youths will still gather and sing praises for una.”

Due to the federal government’s inability to meet the demands of ASUU, universities in Nigeria have remained shut down for the past five months.

Remember that on February 14, the Academic Staff Union of Universities shut down all public universities and demanded that the FG implement any previous agreements that both sides had previously made.
