The suspension laid on Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka’s adoration ministry has been lifted by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu.
A ban was previously placed on Mbaka’s adoration ministry following a harmful comment he made, directed towards the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.
During a mid-week prayer session, Mbaka stated that Peter Obi, who he described as “a stingy man,” could not be Nigeria’s president because he is “cursed.”
As a result of this, The Catholic Bishop of the Enugu Diocese, Bishop Calistus Onaga, ordered that Catholics no longer attend Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry.
However, in a brief statement issued on Thursday, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka revealed that the ban had been lifted.
He said, ”Dear Adorers, to the glory of God, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Amen, starts on Sunday 2nd October 2022 with 10 am Mass at the Adoration ground Umuchigbo Iji Nike Emene Enugu State.
“God bless you miraculously as you come to worship God with us, Rev Fr, Ejike Mbaka.”
