Cristiano Ronaldo To Exit Manchester United This Summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to quit Manchester United this summer because he does not believe he is a part of Erik ten Hag’s plan at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo is reportedly looking for a way out of United ahead of next season, according to the Italian publication La Repubblica.

According to sources, the forward does not believe he is a part of Ten Hag’s efforts to revitalize a squad that has been in decline for several seasons.

The Portuguese striker, 37, scored 24 goals in his second career at United, but with the appointment of the Dutch coach this summer, everything is poised to change.

Roma and Sporting Lisbon have been mentioned as possible destinations for the player who earns £480,000 a week.

Another aspect that reportedly influenced his decision was United’s failure to qualify for the Champions League next season.

According to La Repubblica, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is looking for a new club for his client, and Jose Mourinho’s Roma has emerged as a possible destination.

Sporting Lisbon, his first club, has been linked with a return after qualifying for the Champions League next season with second place to Porto in the Primeira Liga.
