Davido’s House Staffs Arrested Following Ifeanyi’s Death

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that all of Davido’s domestic staff members are currently being held in custody following the death of the singer’s son, Ifeanyi.

Following the widespread reporting of Ifeanyi’s death on Tuesday morning, the command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to Daily Post.

The boy drowned on Monday at his father’s home in Banana Island while the DMW boss and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, were away from the house.

The Lagos PPRO said in an interview with Daily Post about the tragic incident that a preliminary investigation is currently underway to determine what caused the boy’s death.

He said, “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.

“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest.”
