Faith to trust God through today’s challenges – Monday Perspective

Faith to trust God through today’s challenges – Monday Perspective

We all have had encounters with God that were too real to have been mere coincidences; experiences that we knew had their roots deeply entrenched in the divine. Think of David killing a lion and then a bear, and you would realize that God uses today to prepare His champions for tomorrow. He uses our every day experiences to shape our lives and strengthen our faith. These encounters do not have to be spectacular for them to be supernatural. You may not have killed a lion or a bear. You may not have done anything way out of the ordinary. It may just have been a voice that sounded so real to your innermost being that you immediately knew that was the voice of God, or maybe a night vision that has remained indelible on your mind. Cherish and hold them dear to your heart.

Our significant encounters are God’s tools in bringing us through the moment; our testimonies of yesterday are our most potent weapons in getting past our immediate challenge. If only we would constantly remind ourselves of yesterday’s encounter and not treat them as mere coincidences, we would have more than enough faith to trust God through today’s challenges.

God’s call to us this week is that; should doubt and fear ever arise, we must call to mind those same elements that made our faith rock-solid at the beginning; our significant encounters that made God so real to us when it all first began.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
