Priyanka Chopra hit headlines on Monday after it was noticed that the actress had dropped ‘Jonas’ from her display name on Instagram. Speculations were rife that there is trouble in paradise for the actress and hubby Nick Jonas. However, Priyanka’s mother was quick to tag the rumours as ‘rubbish’ while a close friend of the actress told ETimes that the speculations were baseless. And now, it is being reported that Priyanka Chopra may have made this move on Instagram as part of promotions of the Jonas Brothers roast, which is releasing on an OTT platform today.

Amid the separation talks, Priyanka quashed the rumours by dropping a mushy comment on Nick’s post. While the singer shared a video of himself working out in the gym, Priyanka showered Nick with love as she wrote, “Damn! I just died in your arms”. Recently, Priyanka and Nick hosted a grand Diwali bash at their new home. Giving fans a glimpse of their celebration, Priyanka had penned, “Our first diwali in our first home together. This one will always be special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this evening so special. You’re my angels. To everyone who honoured our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but dancing the night away, you made me feel like I was back home. And to the best husband and partner @nickjonas, you are what dreams are made of. I love you. My heart is so grateful and full.”

On the work front, Priyanka will be soon seen sci-fi action drama ‘The Matrix Resurrections’. She also has Bollywood film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. Announcing the movie, PC had shared in August, “Katrina, Alia, and I enthusiastically met in February 2020, just before the world shut down, to discuss who we could trust to bring this vision to life for us and our choice was unanimous… Farhan and Ritesh, Zoya and Reema. We had all worked with @excelmovies and @tigerbabyfilms individually so this seemed perfect. It just so happened that Farhan was working on a female road trip movie at the same time! Talk about all the stars aligning!! And here we are today… #JeeLeZaraa… it only took 3 years to align all our schedules but we stuck together and got it done! This one is to sisterhood… to friendship and to breaking the mould!! Can’t wait to get on the road with Aloo and Katty. My heart’s smiling.”
