Antonio Rudiger, a defender for Real Madrid, has confessed that he intentionally made mistakes while playing for Chelsea.
Rudiger claimed that he did it to rile up the crowd and raise the intensity at Stamford Bridge.
This summer, the German international moved from Chelsea to Madrid as a free agent.
His five years at Stamford Bridge came to an end with him winning the Champions League, FA Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Europa League, and UEFA Super Cup during his stay at Chelsea.
Now the 29-year-old has admitted he intentionally caused chaos by making mistakes on the field to stir up Chelsea supporters when he thought they were being too quiet during games.
He said, “I’ll be honest, I deliberately made a few mistakes because it was just too quiet in the stadium for me during this game,” Rudiger told German outlet Sport1.
