REFLECTION

After Jesus had heard about the way that John the Baptist had died, He decided to go with his disciples to a lonely place but not very long they were discovered by the crowd He still cared for them all and they were all satisfied. So why are we following Christ? Imagine people coming to Church without necessarily following Jesus. Whenever we wake up we should first give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, for giving himself to us through his incarnation, death and resurrection. In addition, we should always count our blessings rather than nag or complain about our situation. God is our helper and we should be contented for he knows what we need before we ask him. Our complaint bars the doors of mercy for us so rather than nag and seek only material benefits we should seek to do the will of the Father always so the may have eternal life, and we shall raise with him on the last day” [Jn 6:40].
