Jose Mourinho Responds Amidst Rumours Of Becoming PSG’s New Manager

Jose Mourinho, the coach of AS Roma, has decided to stay at the club this summer, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who want him to replace Mauricio Pochettino.

PSG are ready to part ways with Pochettino, who no longer has the support of the board following last season’s humiliating Champions League quarter-final loss to Real Madrid.

Last season, Pochettino led PSG to Ligue 1 victory, but the club’s board is hell-bent on winning the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.

As a result, the Parisians are considering Jose Mourinho as their next manager, with the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss now leading the race to succeed Mauricio Pochettino.

Mourinho earned his fifth European trophy last month as he led Roma to victory in the Europa Conference League.

Jose, however, is happy in the Italian city, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, and is ‘more committed’ than ever to continue at the club.

This is a setback for PSG, who may explore a dramatic attempt to steal Antonio Conte from Tottenham Hotspur if their bid for Mourinho falls through.
