American singer and fashion designer Kanye Omari West, often known as Kanye West or Ye, is planning to purchase Parler, a well-known social network in the United States, days after being barred from Instagram and suspended from Twitter.
The company revealed that its agreement with the rapper is anticipated to be finalized later this year in a statement it released on Monday to announce the acquisition.
According to Parler CEO George Farmer, opinions are viewed as controversial. George also stated that the deal might alter how people view free speech globally.
Ye’s account was suspended for breaking the terms and conditions of the social media platform with an allegedly “anti-semitic” post.
The rapper was later suspended from Twitter after he declared war on the Jewish community following his contentious Paris Fashion Week show, where he displayed his White Lives Matter shirts.
The rapper had previously accused Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg of booting him off Instagram.
