According to reports, gunmen kidnapped three persons in Anambra State and threw them off a bridge, leaving them to crash on the concrete floor of a drainage channel.
The event occurred during the weekend in Alor, in the Idemili South Local Government Area.
According to reports, the victims were kidnapped along Nnobi—Nnewi Road, taken to Alor, and then thrown over a bridge along the Obiaja River.
A video of the incident, which has gone viral online, shows one of the abductees explaining his ordeal while being interviewed by Tiger Squad local vigilante, Alor.
The victim, identified as Benjamin Okafor, claimed he was travelling in a Toyota Camry with another person to his hometown of Amichi in the Nnewi South Local Government Area when he was kidnapped at around 9 o’clock in the evening.
After some time, they were eventually hurled off the top of the bridge.
A second victim, who was injured all over his body, was also visible in the video, laying still in the drainage system.
He said, “The man was rescued and he is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. He was later identified and united with the family members. Meanwhile, the second victim has been taken to the morgue and an investigation has since commenced.
