Man Breaks Up With Friends Because They Didn’t Check Up On Him After Surgery

Kouam, a Guyanese-Cameroonian, has used the ‘X’ platform to explain why he broke up with four of his ‘homeboys,’ or buddies.

They didn’t follow up with him when he had back surgery, so he broke up with them.

He claimed that because they didn’t try to get in touch with him, he realized they weren’t his true buddies.

“I just blocked and deaded friendships with 4 of my “homeboys”. I had back surgery literally a whole month ago and not one of those nig*as checked on your boy. I ain’t say shit, I just blocked and let it be what it is. Nig*as wasn’t my real friends,” he wrote on Sunday, April 28.

When you have a real friend that cares about you, you just know. However, it’s not that easy to spot who your fake friends are. 

They are only nice when you are around, but will talk behind your back the second you leave. They gossip about you, spread rumors about you. And they feel entitled for your time and attention. But when you need them, they are nowhere to be found.

And it could be heartbreaking to accept that someone might not be a real friend.
