NBA YoungBoy, a rapper from the United States, has admitted to drug fraud charges.
During his court appearance in Logan, Utah, on Monday, he admitted to six charges of misdemeanor unlawful pharmacy conduct, two counts of third degree criminal identity fraud, and two counts of third degree felony forgery.
At first, the rapper was charged with 46 state offenses.
YoungBoy pled not guilty to 36 more charges, and he is currently doing 27 months on federal charges.
His felony charges were lowered to Class A misdemeanors as part of his plea agreement.
The judge, Spencer Walsh, deferred a jail term after the plea and instead fined the defendant $25,000.
“I’m sure that in your future, once you are done with your federal prison time, you can be really successful on federal probation and have a bright future where you can reach full potential in every aspect of your life.”
YoungBoy is also facing an unresolved federal gun case in Louisiana.
