In the hours of Thursday, a viral video emerged showing the shocking and tragic moment a young girl committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a major mall in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The girl was killed after falling directly from the restaurant lobby on the sixth floor in a “commercial mall” in Nasr City, east of Cairo.

In the details, the Egyptian security services received a report that an accident has happened that a girl had fallen dead, after everyone ignored her and threw herself from the sixth floor, according to a video clip.

Surveillance cameras documented the horrific incident, as it turned out that the girl approached the glass fence of the floor and climbed on one of the seats, and then threw herself.

For its part, the security services moved to the site of the accident and found that the body was a 23-year-old girl, who resides in the Zohour neighborhood of Nasr City.

The surveillance cameras were unloaded, eyewitnesses were interrogated, and the girl’s relatives were summoned by the security services.

Likewise, the Public Prosecution Office, which conducted the investigation, was notified and ordered the detectives to intensify their investigations into the incident and reveal its circumstances.
