The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a planned three-day power outage in Lagos, aimed at carrying out essential maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
Residents and businesses are advised to prepare for potential disruptions in electricity supply from [start date] to [end date], as the company works to improve the reliability and stability of the power grid in the region.
The maintenance is scheduled from 26 to 29 November 2025, the company confirmed in a notice released on Friday.
TCN’s spokesperson, Ndidi Mbah, stated that the maintenance will impact areas under the Eko Electricity Distribution Company, as well as parts of Ogun State, including Ojo, Festac, Ijora, Mushin (including Orile), Apapa, Lekki (including Ibeju), Lagos Island (including Ajele), and Agbara.
“The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that scheduled maintenance will be carried out on the Aja/Alagbon 330 kV transmission line from November 26 to 29, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily,” the notice read.
