Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Police Command has yet to respond with an investigation into Dogara’s horrible death, despite his relatives’ claims that they have left everything in Allah’s hands.

The Kaduna Police Command announced on Tuesday morning that its agents in Zaria had slain two bandits and recovered motorcycles used by the bandits to terrify the residents of Zaria and the surrounding areas.

According to a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), ASP Muhammed Jalige, on December 13, 2021, at about 1630 hours, the Command’s Operatives attached to 47 PMF Squadron Zaria, while on a confidence-building patrol within Fatika district of Giwa LGA, Kaduna State, caught some Bandits around Riheyi village in the same district.

During a gunfight with the bandits, the agents killed two of them, while others fled with bullet wounds.

They retrieved an AK47 rifle loaded with ten (10) rounds of 7.62 X 39mm live ammo and an operating motorcycle, according to Jalige, after using gallantry and fire precision to successfully neutralize two criminals.

CP Mudassiru Abdullahi, the Commissioner of Police for Kaduna Command, praised the officers for their professionalism and uncommon bravery in achieving the desired result and tasked all operational and tactical commanders to instill the culture of rigorous patrols in all nooks and crannies within their areas of jurisdiction.

He said, “As festive period is fast approaching, bandits and criminals would like to terrorize innocent people.”
