Troops Find 11 Who Escaped From Bandits Camp In Kaduna

According to the Kaduna state government, the security agencies’ findings revealed that 11 captives escaped from bandits’ encampment on the borders of Sabon birni town in the state’s igabi local government area.

In a statement, the state commissioner for internal security and home affairs, Samuel aruwan, said, “reports from security agencies have informed the Kaduna state government that 11 hostages escaped from bandits’ camps at the borders of sabon birni town, igabi lga.”

The statement went on to say that continuous security operations removed many of the bandits, leaving them in confusion and allowing the hostages to flee.

According to the statement, the 11 hostages are a combination of individuals abducted in dumbin rauga, zaria local government area, and along the Kaduna-zaria route.

The names of the escaped captives were identified as Fatima Sani, Aisha falalu, Amina aliyu, hadizatu sani, and Bashar falula. all from ages of 7 to 10 are from dumbin rauga.

Fatima Umar, Zara Umar, hadiza Madu sharif, hauwa Ali, Zara Madu sharif, and Maryam madu are among those that escaped from the Kaduna-zaria road while going from Maiduguri to Ilorin, according to the statement.

The statement went on to say that the families of those kidnapped at dumbin rauga had collectively paid a ransom of n3 million, claiming that the bandits had backtracked on the agreement to free the prisoners, insisting on two motorcycles as part of the ransom deal.

According to the statement, the escapees were seen by troops and reunited with their families.

In some other event, forces from operation haven announced the rescue of two kidnapped hostages, barira Sulaiman inusa and isah Musa, in the vicinity of Kirti village in the Jemaa local government area, noting that they had been reunited with their loved ones.

According to the statement, the military rescued one Mrs. Chioma Amanda silver in ungwan sarki Goza village, mariri, lere local government area, after she was abducted by bandits who abandoned her when they saw the army.

Gov. Nasir el-rufai expressed his happiness with the developments when he heard about them.

He also praised the army for their quick response in rescuing the kidnapped residents in the jema’a and lere local government regions.

The governor expressed his warmest wishes and prayers to all of the former hostages as they reunited with their families.
