Woman Cries Out As Husband Kills Their Three Children And Puts Them In Deep Freezer

Mrs. Millicent Amadigwa, the mother of the three girls reportedly murdered and hidden in a deep freezer at their home on 74 Nkwubor Road, Emene, Enugu, by their father, 52-year-old Ifeanyi Amadikwa, has spoken out, according to IgbereTV.

The heartbreaking account of how police nabbed the suspect on January 4 after the children, Chidalum Amadikwa, 11, Amarachi Amadikwa, 8, and Ebubechukwu Amadikwa, 4, were discovered dead was reported in the news on Wednesday.

Mrs. Amadigwa, who sells tomato and pepper, told Punch that her husband, who has been unemployed for a few years, had threatened to kill their children in the past. She claimed she took his threat seriously and reported it to his aunt, who advised her to ignore it because it was “just a threat.”

Mrs. Amadigwa, explaining how she discovered her dead children, stated that on January 4th, her girls awoke when she was getting ready to go to the market. She stated that she told them to wash their clothing after eating while she went to the market with her son, Akachukwu.

When the mother got home, she was surprised that none of her children hurried out to greet her like they usually do when she returns home from the market. She added that when she queried her husband about their whereabouts, he was dismissive, telling her to go search for them herself.

She stated that she went to a neighbor’s house to look for them but did not find them. Mrs. Amadigwa stated that she went back home and wanted to get something to eat then her husband called out for her to come and view the children in a deep freezer at their house’s entrance.

She stated that they were rushed to the hospital, where the doctor confirmed that they were dead.

Mrs. Amadigwa claims she only suspects her husband of murdering their children.

She said, ”No one again except my husband because he has threatened this children that he will kill them. He said me and him will appear in newspapers.”

She claimed he had been threatening her for no apparent reason since last year.

”I reported the threat to their senior sister, Aunty Ann who lives in Owerri. She told me it is just ordinary and that he wouldn’t do anything.”

She also stated that she informed her older brother, who phoned him and cautioned him not to touch anyone. Her deceased children, she claimed, were always hesitant to receive anything from their father because of his negative attitude toward them.

Before traveling to Dubai, her spouse worked for two different companies, according to her. He returned two years ago and has remained unemployed, unable to support their family. She claimed that on the day of the event, her husband purchased chemicals that he intended to pour into a well dug in their complex. She claims he used the toxins to kill their children.

Mrs. Amadigwa stated that her husband still denies him murdering the children.

According to the police, the case is presently being investigated.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
