The tongue is a very powerful instrument but very often prone to abuse. The wicked uses his tongue to curse but the godly uses his to bless. So it is no humility to remain silent over a curse word spoken against our lives or destinies. What we allow to germinate has the potential to bear fruits.

This is a new week. God does not want you to be afraid of the devil, but to use the power He has put in your tongue to negate, nullify and frustrate the works of the enemy.

Begin today to form the habit of always blessing yourself; for where blessings abound, curses cannot settle, and where there is an overflow of life, death is driven far away.
