“You Are Just Like Satan Campaigning Against Sin,” Reno Omokri Attacks Peter Obi

The Labour Party’s (LP) Peter Obi has attracted criticism for his insistence that, if elected, Nigeria must shift from a consumption-based economy to a production-based economy.

Obi has been advocating that Nigeria’s economy must be promptly fixed so that Nigerians can prosper and enjoy.

However, Reno Omokri, a sociopolitical activist, compared Obi’s campaign to Satan preaching against sin.

Omokri asserted that the LP presidential candidate was Nigeria’s top consumer goods importer.

Omokri claimed in a series of tweets that Obi imports beer and alcoholic beverages despite running campaigns to make Nigeria a producing country.

Reno Omokri said, “Peter Obi is the single greatest contributor to consumption in Nigeria. He imports almost everything from A to Z, including beer and alcoholic drinks.

“Yet, he campaigns on turning Nigeria from consumption to production? It is like Satan campaigning against sin!

“Enter any major supermarket in Nigeria. At least 15% of what you will see was imported into Nigeria by @PeterObi. Not manufactured.

“IMPORTED. If I am lying, I challenge Peter to sue me. And this is the fellow who wants to move Nigeria from consumption to production?”
