41 Alleged Internet Fraudsters Arrested By EFCC, Cars And Several Items Seized (Photos)

Forty-One (41) alleged internet fraudsters were apprehended by agents of the EFCC, Enugu Zonal Command, in Awka, Anambra State.

The suspects were apprehended on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, upon credible intel on their alleged involvement in cybercrimes and other associated activities.

According to a statement made public by the commission, 25 of the suspects were apprehended at Umudu Okpuno Village in the Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, while sixteen (16) were apprehended at Umuodu Tansi Road in Awka, Anambra State.

According to the commission, the suspects names are Eze Stanley Chineze, Emmanuel Chijioke Ejikeme, Chinonso Edwin Abonyi, Emmanuel Akoi Chibuike, Henry Umenyi Chukwualuka, Ayo Iteze Chidiebere, Emeka Justice, Emmanuel Ayakem, Ememuo Innocent Ifeanyi and Odinaka Udeh.

Others are Okonkwo Stanley Chukwuma, Ezeakolam Godswill Chihurumnanya, Emmanuel Mgbakor kenechukwu, Benneth Odinaka, Ndefor Chukwudi, Ngadi Chima, Akalam Lucky Ibuchi, Akalam Michael, Justus Akalam Chunazom, Akalam Kenneth, David Monday Ebuka, Uchechukwu Kingsley Ebuka, Henry Echezona, Onyedika Chukwu, Abuchi Awa, Henry Adumaka, Chidera Chika, Malachi Asonbe, Cosmos Obidimma, Akuma Wisdom, Agwu Victor, Godwin Okoro, Obumneke Nwankwo, Igboanugo Charles, Ibeh Chisom, Agbafuna Ifeanyi, Chukwu Joseph, Chukwu Benard, Anson Ugochukwu, Mathew Chukwuemeka and Temple Emmanuel.

The commission claimed that among the items recovered from the fraudsters were many mobile phones, laptops, a Lexus RX350 sports utility vehicle, an unregistered Lexus ES350 vehicle, a Toyota Camry vehicle, and a Lexus ES350.
