All About School Life – Episode 1

Published on

As an undergraduate in Nigeria (YES, that ‘in Nigeria’ needs to be added😩), you will experience a lot, some good days, some bad days, financial issues, academic struggles, moral and social life, and the rest of them. School has a way of frustrating you, frustration will be your tight friend, we even renamed our school from Federal University Of Technology Owerri to Frustration Under Tension Owerri😂.

Furthering one’s education is very important as we all know that ‘KNOWLEDGE IS POWER’ and what puts you ahead of others is what you have that they don’t, and knowledge is the greatest thing to have as IT WILL ALWAYS REMAIN WITH YOU.

But the passing through tertiary education is not easy and I advise that before diving into something very new and alien to you, it is necessary to make research and seek advice and the opinions of those who have followed that part.

Sincerely, if I knew some of the things I know now before I entered school, things would have been easier and smoother. It’s really not just another ‘go to school, read, pass and come back home,’ no, it’s not another secondary school where everything is good and smooth.

For someone who is aspiring to enter into the university or just gained admission or your stay at the university is still at its early stage, this article will really be of benefit to you

Everything about you needs to be prepared. Many people make the mistake of thinking only about the academic aspect, ignoring the psychological, moral, social, and health.

By the way, this article is not necessarily for those aspiring to enter the University, it’s for everyone, but I believe that it will benefit them as they will know what to expect when they get in as I will be sharing some interesting uni experiences.

In my next post, I will be sharing my feeding experience in school, how I had to eat what I cooked 😂, _who you wan insult, na you cook am. So stay tuned.
