Arsenal Striker Kai Havertz To Miss The Rest Of Season

Published on

Kai Havertz, an Arsenal striker, will reportedly miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a hamstring tear while at the team’s training camp in Dubai.

This comes after Mail Sport claimed on Tuesday night that the Arsenal star experienced a worrisome hamstring injury scare while on the club’s training trip to Dubai.

The German attacker discovered the problem earlier this week in Dubai, where Mikel Arteta has joined him on a warm-weather training camp. The Gunners are presently six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League, and Havertz’s injury has dealt a serious blow to their chances of winning the title.

Havertz’s injured hamstring has officially been confirmed, according to The Athletic. At this point, it is uncertain whether the 25-year-old will need surgery, but his main goal is to be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season.

The Germany international has been an important element of Arsenal’s offense this season, scoring 15 goals and assisting five in all competitions.

His most recent goal came in Arsenal’s 5-1 defeat of defending champions Manchester City at The Emirates earlier this month.

The setback is a stinging blow to the North London club’s title chances, as their other star striker, Gabriel Jesus, is also out injured.

During Arsenal’s FA Cup third-round defeat to Manchester United, the Brazil international sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his left knee.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
