Three more abducted passengers from the Abuja-Kaduna train attack have been released after being held captive for four months.

On Monday, July 25, the victims—two men and a woman—were freed at around 11 a.m.

According to reports, Barrister Hassan Lawal Othman, whose images went viral yesterday, was one of the victims freed.

According to information, the jihadists released them at a site inside a woodland near the Kaduna–Abuja highway. They were then picked up by their family members from there.

However, it is unclear if any cash was given to the terrorists in exchange for the release of their kidnapped victims.

The three victims have now been freed, leaving 40 more people who are still being held captive.

24 hours had passed since the terrorists’ release of a video in which they were shown flogging hostages.

In the viral video, the terrorist threatened to kidnap Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, and President Mohammadu Buhari.
