Fairme David, a recently evicted housemate from Big Brother Naija, talked about how he decides to stay single during his time in the house.
In an Outsyd interview, Fairme told Pulse that showing his true self to the public was more important to him than finding love.
In response to a query concerning his lack of romantic relationship with any of the female roommates, Fairme explained, “My goal in entering that house was not to find love.” Since love is not my issue, I went there to introduce myself and Fairme.
He elaborated, “If I had developed feelings for someone, I would have pursued it. But I didn’t want to pretend to be in love just for the show or for the viewers.”
“I wanted it to be real, not forced, so I took my time and did me,” he said.
Fairme admitted that despite the presence of many attractive women in the house, none of them met his ideal type.
“If the love did not come or I didn’t see anyone I was attracted to, fine. I didn’t see anyone that was really my spec; yes, I didn’t see anyone like that. But they were all beautiful women in that house,” he concluded.
