Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly due to sign a new contract with Saudi Pro League team Al-Nassr worth approximately £167.9 million (€200 million).

The 39-year-old Portuguese superstar joined the Saudi club in a mega deal in January 2023, following his bitter exit from Manchester United.

The astonishing contract pays him almost £164 million per season for his on-field contributions, with an additional £49 million coming from endeavors off the field.

According to Saudi publication ‘Al Khabar’, Ronaldo’s stay in Saudi Arabia will continue.

The former Real Madrid player is rumored to be on the verge of extending his contract, which is set to expire at the conclusion of the season, in order to extend his stay at Al-Nassr, in a deal that will pay him £3.19 million (€3.8 million) each week and £419,800 (€500,000) per day. When signed, the contract will reaffirm his title as the world’s highest-paid footballer.

Ronaldo has scored 75 goals in 84 appearances for his team so far.

The forward has only won one trophy, the 2023 Arab Club Championship, with Al-Nassr missing out on two title opportunities against Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
