Democrats Moving From Biden To Harris – Former Congressman

According to reports, Kamala Harris is becoming the front-runner among Democrats to succeed Joe Biden if he decides to withdraw from the presidential race.

To Donald Trump’s satisfaction, there is a rising push within the party to bring about this change.

After his dismal June 27 debate against Trump, former Democratic congressman from Ohio Tim Ryan told TMZ that many Americans believe it is unreasonable to continue working with President Biden. Ryan reports that a growing percentage of Democrats think Harris is their best bet going forward.

“She is the only candidate who, as VP, would inherit Biden’s war chest and campaign infrastructure,” Ryan explained. After more than 20 years in office, Ryan lost his attempt for reelection to J.D. Vance in 2020. He claimed to have had conversations with senators, members of Congress, and other influential Democrats. If Harris is elected president, they all think he can bring about harmony, peace, and reforming the government.

But Trump believes he has a big advantage if he faces off against Harris. Karoline Leavitt, a spokesman for his team, told TMZ that Harris trails Biden in head-to-head polling against Trump. According to a poll quoted by Leavitt, Trump leads Harris by 7 points, 49% to 42%, with 9% of voters undecided. When Jill Stein, Cornel West, RFK Jr., and other candidates were included in the poll, Trump led Harris by five points. Trump leads Biden by six points according to the most recent New York Times/Siena College poll.

Leavitt summarized to TMZ, “The Democrats are in a no-win situation. If they stick with Biden, they lose. If they switch to Kamala, they lose even more. President Trump is going to win no matter what they decide.”

In spite of this, Ryan seems upbeat. Harris, in his opinion, has the ability to energise the Democratic Party and increase minority support for them. During their 2020 campaign together, he praised Harris’s interpersonal skills and called her a “total rock star.”

Ryan added that Biden has a track record of putting the interests of the nation first. He believes that Biden may choose to make way for a newer crop of Democratic leaders, starting with Harris.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
