Elon Musk Unbans Donald Trump From Twitter After Nearly 2 Years

Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been reactivated under the new administration of Elon Musk after nearly 2 years of ban from the site.

The owner of the social media platform polled its users on Saturday about whether Trump’s account should be reinstated.

52 per cent voted in support of Trump, while 48 per cent were against his return to the platform, according to the results.

After the polls were conducted, Elon Musk announced, “The people have spoken, Trump will be reinstated.”

Trump had lost all of his followers after his account was deleted, but in less than 12 hours, he gained over 9 million.

Early last year, the 45th US President was suspended for breaking Twitter’s rules of service.

Allegations against the Republican leader include instigating an uprising that resulted in an invasion of the US Capitol.

President Trump had insisted that Joe Biden, who was declared the winner of the 2020 election, was victorious as a result of Electoral fraud and irregularities.

The 45th US President has now announced that he will be running in 2024, saying that President Biden has done very badly in governing the country.
