Former NBA Player Arrested For Allegedly Hitting His Girl Friend

Eric Bledsoe, a former NBA player, was detained for domestic violence after signing a contract to play for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association.

According to TMZ, police were contacted about a domestic incident at a home in Lost Hills, California, on Wednesday, October 27.

The victim claimed that her boyfriend had slapped her and on the basis of a domestic violence misdemeanor charge, Bledsoe was taken into custody.

After being arrested, Bledsoe was released on bail from the Lost Hills Sheriff’s department.

Eric Bledsoe’s girlfriend also posted a picture of herself on Instagram that has since been deleted, appearing to have a red mark on her face.

According to TMZ, she captioned the post, “NO RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS IS EVER WORTH STAYING IN. Domestic violence is real! This wasn’t the first time but I sat here and stayed so it’s my fault!! ERIC BLEDSOE really is a monster.”

During his time with the Los Angeles Clippers last season, Eric Bledsoe averaged 9.9 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.4 rebounds in 25.2 minutes per game.

He had previously spent time with the Clippers, where he had begun his NBA career in 2010.

He has also played for the New Orleans Pelicans, Milwaukee Bucks, and Phoenix Suns.
