Goat ‘Arrested’ For Attacking Dog And Primary School Pupils

A male goat named Akmed was taken by force from a house in Mount View – Verulam, KZN, South Africa, following an attack on a dog and some students.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) reported in a statement on Friday, April 26, 2024, that a caller had requested assistance, prompting the dispatch of its police to the suburb.

She reported that a goat was attacking her dog to the Operations Centre.

Akmed had earlier attacked multiple children who were on their way to a primary school, Reaction Officers were told when they arrived at the scene.

After multiple failed attempts to find the owner, Reaction Officers removed the animal.

The goat was brought to the headquarters of RUSA.

RUSA provided an update, stating that the owner has now received the goat.
