God is going to come through for you

Published on

A story is told about two birds and how they behaved when placed in a cage. In futile attempts to escape, one bird flew violently against the wires of its cage, only bruising its own wings in the process. The other bird perched itself on the bar and began to spew bursts of sweet song from its tiny throat. We all know which bird was wiser.

Many of us today chafe, cry out, and complain when we are in trouble. As a result, we only hurt ourselves, make ourselves even more miserable, and do not in any sense lessen the trouble. We sometimes wish that God would rush to our aid or show the same level of desperation that we do, but this is never GOD’s character. He can’t panic because He knows what He’s doing, and He can’t rush because He has time on His side.

Beloved, Be reminded that God is not moved by our complaints, but by our courage; He never responds to our fear, but He honors our faith when we completely trust in Him. There may be situations that arise that we are unable to handle, but God is aware. You can be confident that God will come through for you. Amen.
