Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has acknowledged that Kevin De Bruyne caused him pain while they were playing in Germany.
De Bruyne was playing for Wolfsburg at the time, while Guardiola was in charge of Bayern Munich.
Today, marking the seventh anniversary of the playmaker’s transfer to Man City, Guardiola praised De Bruyne for his performances for the Premier League team since his arrival.
The manager said, “Well, it was a really good signing for Manchester City, seven years is many, many years, and he has done brilliantly since then.
“Before he came here, I knew him from Germany, I suffered from him when I was at Bayern and he was at Wolfsburg and I like how he has performed in this time.”
