Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain has stated that he only wants to play football with the best players in the world.

The France international stated this when asked about his wages after signing a new contract with PSG,

The 23-year-old shunned the La Liga champions to renew his contract at PSG, much to the dismay of many Real Madrid fans.

He claimed that it was PSG’s sporting project, not money, that persuaded him to stay with the League 1 Giants.

Messi, Mbappe and Neymar did not play together last season, and Mbappe stated it was a shame that Neymar’s injury prevented them from doing so.

He said to the media, “Honestly, we only spoke about wages and image rights for a short time.

“Playing with top players is what I want.

“It was a shame as we had a tough year as it was Lionel Messi’s first year and Neymar was injured, so we couldn’t play together with the three of us too much.”
