If Ronaldo Leaves Manchester United, They Will Finish Below 10th – Gary Neville

According to Manchester United legend Gary Neville, if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Manchester United, the Red Devils will finish below 10th in the Premier League standings this year.

He stated that if the Portuguese were to be let out this summer, United would need to be able to sign quality players.

United is having a very difficult time adjusting to the new season after losing both of its early games, at home and away, to underdog teams Brentford and Brighton.

The Red Devils lost at Brentford 4-0 on Saturday after losing to Brighton 2-1 on the opening day.

He said, “I think they [Manchester United] are damned if they do [let him leave] and damned if they don’t,” Neville said on Sky Sports.

“The problem is now that if they lose him then there’s nothing left in terms of goal-scoring.

“I genuinely think they could finish in the bottom half of the table. I think it’s a bottom half of the table team if Manchester United fail to buy quality players in the next few weeks.”
