American rapper Kanye West has revealed that he has asked former President Donald Trump to be his running mate in the 2024 US presidential election.

West, officially known as Ye, recently announced his 2024 presidential nomination after failing to bid for 2020.

The 45-year-old rapper announced on his Twitter page Wednesday that he visited Trump at his private club Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

West explained that he kept Trump waiting as he began pointing out the subject of their discussion.

When he asked Trump to run for vice president in 2024, West used a Twitter pill to let fans speculate on how Trump might have reacted.

The rapper tweeted, “First time at Mar-a-Lago. Rain and traffic.

“I can’t believe I kept President Trump waiting and I had on jeans. Yikes!

“What do you guys think his response was when I asked him to be my running mate in 2024?”

This comes a week after Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election.

Trump has officially launched his campaign for his 2024 candidacy, filing papers with the Federal Election Commission declaring himself a presidential candidate and creating a new campaign committee.
