Shortly after Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, aka Agbogidi, were declared missing, having not returned home after exiting a movie set in Ozalla town in Enugu state, kidnappers have now contacted their families and are demanding a $100,000 ransom.

After hearing from their families that the actors hadn’t arrived home from the movie shoot on Thursday, July 28, authorities declared them missing.

The abductors of the actors have reportedly contacted their families and are seeking the ransom in dollars, according to Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

Mr Rollas stated that the guild is collaborating with the security personnel while continuing to pray for divine intervention to prevent any harm to the actors.

He further revealed that following the kidnapping, Cynthia Okereke’s bank account has been completely wiped by the kidnapper.
