Lagos Hotel Horror: Man Arrested for Brutally Killing Girlfriend

A 23-year-old man, Amos Daniel, has been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly murdering his girlfriend, Endurance, at a hotel in the Ayobo area of Lagos. The gruesome incident occurred on Thursday, July 18, 2025, after Daniel checked into the hotel with two friends and was later joined by the victim.

The Incident Unfolds

• Disturbing Noises: Hotel guests reported hearing unusual sounds coming from Daniel’s room around 10 p.m., prompting staff to investigate.
• Discovery: Upon opening the door with a spare key, staff found Endurance lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds.
• Arrest: Daniel was caught hiding within the hotel premises and was handed over to the police after being beaten by angry guests.

Investigation and Evidence

• Police Confirmation: SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident, stating that Daniel and his accomplices allegedly lured the victim to the hotel for ritual purposes.
• Recovered Items: Police found several incriminating items, including a dagger, axe, cutlass, machete, jackknives, scissors, laptop, and jungle boots.
• Autopsy: Endurance’s body has been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital mortuary in Yaba for autopsy.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba for further investigation, with efforts ongoing to apprehend Daniel’s two accomplices who fled the scene.
