Macron Calls ‘Urgent Meeting’ For World Leaders To Discuss Trump

According to reports, French President Emmanuel Macron has called an “emergency meeting” for European leaders to discuss Donald Trump, the president of the United States.

According to Politico, which Fox News cites, Polish Foreign Minister; Radosław Sikorski mentioned the Munich Security Conference meeting on Saturday.

The story claims that two EU officials informed Politico that Monday will be the day of the meeting. Sikorski was reported as stating, “I’m very glad that President Macron has called our leaders to Paris.” He added that the meeting will entail discussing the ramifications of Trump’s actions “in a very serious fashion.”

Sikorski has already discussed US politics without hesitation.

At one point, he likened President Joe Biden’s dismal debate performance to the fall of ancient Rome. At another point, he suggested Trump was correct when he said NATO nations should increase their defense spending.

The source also stated that since Trump’s reelection in November of last year, Macron has become friendly with him.

The French leader had indicated that he would be open to working with Trump in a post on X. Macron wrote, “Congratulations, President @realDonaldTrump.

“All set to collaborate as we did for four years.” With your convictions and mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.”

When Trump traveled to Paris in December to see the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, Macron called hosting him “an honor.”
