Man Caught Loading His Fuel Tank With Cooking Oil In The US (See Video)

In the parking lot of a Tesco shop, a customer was caught loading up his petrol tank with cooking oil.

Due to the rise in gas prices, a vehicle owner was spotted using cooking oil instead of petrol at a Tesco supermarket in Congleton, Cheshire, England.

The man can be seen standing behind his car in the video, with a trolley full of cooking oils nearby.

He then unscrews the cover from one of the cooking oil containers and empties the contents into his automobile.

Another man, named Mark Rainford, was able to catch him in the act and began filming him.

He captioned the video on Facebook with, “What fuel prices”

He said to Cheshire Live: “I filmed it and as I walked past him he was taking all the tops off the bottles first, that’s what made me laugh. He had clearly thought it through.”

Cooking oil should not be put into a car’s petrol tank, car owners have been warned, as it can seriously damage the engine.
