Following the Red Devils’ 4-0 preseason victory over Liverpool, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has reserved praise for new manager Erik ten Hag.
Jadon Sancho, Fred, and Anthony Martial all scored goals for the Red Devils to take a three-goal lead into halftime.
In the second half, Facundo Pellistri added a fourth goal to give Ten Hag’s regime a strong start.
Although it is still very early, Ferdinand thinks he observed encouraging playing styles that the team has been “crying out for years.”
He said, “Seen a few things we been crying out for the last few yrs [sic]… But we’ve seen it sparingly before.
“All in all.. good day at the office! I’m feeling the Ten Hag look on the touchline.”
