As they develop and mature, you want them to make decisions that are sane and sensible.
But let’s face it: you can’t control all of that. As our children get older and more independent, there are so many aspects of parenting that are out of our control. This brings us to the fourth way of parenting with prayer as our foundation
Pray for your children always
One of the most effective things we do for our children as their mothers is to always pray for our children. I’m referring to fervently praying for your kids every day.
I Peter 5:8 says the enemy of our souls is on the prowl, ever looking for someone to devour.
We do not need to be afraid, for Nehemiah 4:14 says “Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”
So mothers! Fight for your children on your knees. The good thing is that God answers us whenever we pray. We are confident that our children are in God’s hands whenever we pray for them. And He will guide and lead them right to become successful and well-balanced adults.
