My Heart Yearns For You

Sometimes, our actions can feel unfulfilling and often complex, leading us to either change our approach or chase after the latest trends in personal development. But here’s the truth: when we prioritize God’s kingdom above everything else, all other things will be added to us.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, King of kings and Lord of lords, the mighty shield in battle, we come before you, captivated by your majesty. You are the source of light and life, full of grace, mercy, justice, and boundless love and power.

My heart yearns for you, finding refuge in your presence.

I resolutely seek your kingdom first, above all else, and commit to aligning my life with your will. Help me surrender my desires, ambitions, and plans to you, so you can mold me into the vessel you intend for me to be. May your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Empower me with your wisdom, guidance, and a fervent passion for your word, and draw me closer to you in prayer. Let my priorities reflect your will, and help me trust in your provision.

Father, I pray that your reign becomes evident in our lives. I lift the spread of the gospel in our world, especially for those we love who currently stand outside your kingdom. Lord, in your mercy, bring them into your fold! Ignite repentance in their hearts. Rescue them from the kingdom of darkness and bring them into the kingdom of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Ignite within us a fierce passion for the spread of the gospel in this generation. Let us engage in your work while it is day, for the night comes when no one can work.

Today, I draw near to you with determination. I seek you with my entire being, knowing that my true desires are fulfilled in you.
