Napoli Reject Galatasaray Bid For Victor Osimhen

Napoli have allegedly turned down a new €75m offer from Galatasaray for the acquisition of Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen, even though the Turkish club met the official release clause stipulated in his contract.

Nigerian sports journalist and transfer expert Onyebuchi Onokala, widely known as Buchi Laba, provided the latest transfer news.

He revealed that Napoli are actively maneuvering to steer the Super Eagles striker toward a high-value transfer to Saudi Arabia instead.

Onokala stated: “Napoli officially turns down Galatasaray €75m third offer for Victor Osimhen. The official Release clause Figure.”

“Victor James Osimhen says YES to Galatasaray and wants to continue with the Turkish team,” Onokala further noted.

The 26-year-old Nigerian had previously agreed to a permanent move to Galatasaray after a productive loan period and shows no interest in relocating to the Middle East.

According to Onokala, Napoli’s rejection of Galatasaray’s bid, despite it fulfilling the contractual clause, is a calculated tactic to derail the transfer as they aim to redirect him to Saudi Arabia.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
