The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested four suspects linked to a one-chance robbery syndicate and attempted kidnapping operation, successfully rescuing two victims in Abuja. The suspects, identified as Solomon Tanko, Samuel Audu, Chigozie Joseph, and Emmanuel Chidiebere, were apprehended on October 9, 2025, at about 4:30 a.m. in Dape Village.
The Operation
Distress Call: The police received a distress call from Hajara Ali on October 8, 2025, at about 10:09 p.m., reporting that her sister, Comfort Habila, had been abducted by suspected one-chance robbers demanding ₦1 million ransom.
Swift Action: Police operatives from the Life Camp Division quickly swung into action, deploying digital and tactical intelligence to track down the suspects.
Rescue: Two victims, Comfort Habila and Aliyu Adams, were rescued during the operation. Adams sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed to Gwarinpa General Hospital for treatment.
