Police Arrest Two For Robbing S#x Workers In Lagos

Two guys have been taken into custody by members of the Lagos State Police Command for the alleged theft of three commercial s*x workers.

The matter was reported to the police on Wednesday at approximately 2.20 a.m. by the three s#x workers, according to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the state police headquarters.

According to Hundeyin, the victims claimed to have seen two robbery suspects at an unidentified location, who they said had taken their goods on August 23 at roughly 4.30 a.m.

“They stated they were picked up being commercial s#x workers at Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, Bode Thomas, Surulere by the two suspects. They were taken to where they claimed the (suspects) lodged. Suddenly, the suspects parked and ordered them to surrender their valuables. In the process, two iPhones valued at N1.05 million, one REDMI Note 12 valued at N140,000, Iphone SR valued at N240,000 were collected from them.

Additionally, he claimed that the suspects forced the victims to transfer N8,000 and ₦25,000 to the same Opay account.

According to a police spokesperson, the suspects admitted to the crime during the course of the inquiry.

He said that two further blank license plates that the accused were employing for their operation, together with their operable Toyota Camry with registration number APP335 JA, had been found.

While the inquiry was still ongoing, according to Hundeyin, one of the victim’s cell phones, REDMI NOTE 12, was also found among the suspects.
