Prayer To Do God’s Will Consistently

Good morning and greetings on this solemn occasion. Below is a prayer designed to facilitate the exchange of personal will for divine will, enabling prayer in a spirit of faith.

I express gratitude for the plans You have for me, which are exceedingly and abundantly beyond my imagination—plans that encompass goodness and provide a future filled with hope. I commend You for this being Your will for my life. I recognize that You intend to prosper and bless me in every conceivable manner, and I earnestly seek to place my full trust in You while relinquishing my will in favor of Yours.

At this moment, I acknowledge my tendency to cling to various aspects of my life that I wish to alter. I confess that I have been resistant in maintaining my thoughts and ideas regarding how I believe You should operate. I commit to shedding every part of my own will in exchange for Your will. I pledge to remain open to Your guidance, whether through my personal communion with You or through the counsel of the godly individuals You have placed in my life.

I am determined to implement changes in my heart and mind that will create pathways to victory in the areas where I seek it. I will exercise faith and engage with every opportunity You present before me. I will allocate time or resources as You direct, I will correct any erroneous thinking when it is revealed to me, and I will remain attentive to Your voice through prayer and Scripture.

I submit my will to Your will through Christ Jesus my strength and my hope, and I express my gratitude for the fact that Your plans for me surpass my understanding.

Like the Blessed Virgin Mary, let it be noted that relinquishing one’s own will is fundamental to receiving guidance and blessings from the divine. Such a decision will be a source of no regret. Happy Solemnity.
