Primate Ayodele explains why INEC needs to postpone the 2023 elections.

In order to prevent an unresolved election, Primate Elijah Ayodele; the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has urged the independent national electoral commission (INEC) to postpone the general election date.

In a statement sent to Tribune Online on Friday and signed by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said that if the poll were to take place on the scheduled day, some persons would sabotage it in some locations.

He claimed that postponing the poll would allow INEC to better prepare if they wanted the election to be successful.

“If INEC doesn’t postpone the general elections, it will not hold in some places and it will lead to an inconclusive election. Some people will sabotage the election in those places,’’ he said.

Primate Ayodele also declared that restructuring, not elections, is the answer to Nigeria’s problems. He explained that the nation will collapse if restructuring wasn’t done under the upcoming administration.

Primate Ayodele argued that restructuring is the best option for maintaining Nigeria’s unity and that if the following administration does not implement it, there will be a significant uprising.

‘’Nigeria cannot move forward without restructuring, God said that is the answer to Nigeria’s problems, not elections. If Nigeria doesn’t do restructuring in the coming dispensation, the country will collapse and what we don’t expect will happen.’’

‘’If we want Nigeria to be united, restructuring is the answer. I also foresee a massive protest against the government in the coming dispensation if restructuring isn’t done.’’

‘’None of the candidates can get the solution to the country, all the campaigns are lies. The best bet for the country is restructuring.’’
