Paris Saint-Germain have launched disciplinary proceedings against star player Lionel Messi, who could be suspended after traveling to Saudi Arabia without permission from the French club.

Various French media outlets have claimed the Argentine World Cup captain will receive his two-week ban, but a source interviewed by AFP said the ban would last for several days.
